325 Glenwood is a spectacular Queen Anne located in the Edgerton Park area of Rochester, New York. The home is currently owned by Scott Hendershot, an award-winning fine arts photographer, and Sarah Long, a professional singer/songwriter.
 
This site was put together to document and share our progress as we restore, repair and renovate our home, almost entirely ourselves. We are learning as we go, but always strive to bear in mind the architectural and historical significance of this structure, and our responsibilities as its stewards.
Built around 1878, the house's 4600 sq ft are divided into 12 main rooms and 4 bathrooms. In addition, the house sports a full attic and a full basement. At some point, after we complete many more pressing projects, we hope to finish off the attic and basement and increase our home's square footage.
In this site you will find a history of the house (as much as we know, anyway) and photographs of the projects we are working on. The house is in dire need of a new roof. Some of Scott's art photographs are for sale to help raise funds for this project. You can also purchase Sarah's music on iTunes in support of our project.
